Through education, leadership development, advocacy, and community partnerships, AAUW Sarasota creates pathways to opportunity.

From scholarships and educational programs to leadership opportunities and skills development, we help women and girls build the knowledge, confidence, and connections they need to pursue their goals. We believe every girl should have access to role models who help her see what is possible—and every woman should have the opportunity to reach her full potential.

But empowerment is about more than individual achievement. It is about creating an environment where everyone has a fair opportunity to succeed.

True equity requires more than opening doors. It means challenging stereotypes, confronting barriers, and changing the systems and attitudes that can limit women and girls.
