Events - AAUW Sarasota

In addition to the events listed on this page, we have special interest groups (SIG’s) that offer opportunities for our members to socialize. Times and venues for the meetings vary and most are held monthly. We are open to adding additional SIG’s. If you have an interest in starting one, please tell us.

From September through May, we have a monthly business meeting that features a speaker. Speakers may be either educational or entertaining, and often reflects information that pertains to our goals. The meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm at the Women’s Resource Center, 340 South Tuttle Avenue, Sarasota.

Our business meetings are open to the public and we cordially invite you to attend. No reservations are necessary.

AAUW Sarasota End-of-Season Luncheon 2025–2026

As we wrap up another meaningful year, we invite you to join us for our End-of-Season Luncheon at Marina Jack’s this spring!

This special gathering is more than just a luncheon. It’s a time to:

Reflect on all we’ve accomplished together in 2025–2026
Celebrate the impact we’ve made
Connect and strengthen friendships
Debrief, dream, and set our intentions for 2026–2027

There’s something powerful about being in one room with women who care deeply about education, equity, and lifting one another up. Let’s close this chapter strong, and look ahead with purpose. Seats fill quickly, so please RSVP as soon as possible!
